Originally from China, where it was traditionally used to create the clothes of the emperors, silk is the finest fibre in the world, just 11 microns thick compared to the 15 microns of cashmere. Known for its exceptional heat regulation properties and its ability to absorb body moisture, it is the ideal fibre for the Venezia duvet. The padding in Mulberry silk, distinctive for its very long and extremely fine regular fibres, is ideal in any climate: it traps heat in cold temperatures and guarantees optimum breathability in more temperate climates. The Venezia duvet weighs just 2.5 kg in the 205×260 cm version and 2.2 kg in the 205×220 cm version. The lining and the piping which embellishes its outer edge are made from 100% white cotton.
