The frame is made of solid wood, with a seat surface of veneered poplar plywood. Essential and refined, it is an object in which every element is deliberately emphasised and carefully finished in every detail. Particular attention is paid to the upholstered part, treated like a leather accessory or a high-fashion handbag. The cushions, in fact, are neither structural nor permanently attached to the seat: the seat cushion is a small mattress rest, while the backrest is attached to the crosspieces of the structure by means of precious shoulder straps. The shoulder straps, inspired by watch straps, are finely stitched to the cushion and equipped with two loops and an elegant twin in burnished brass, which allows them to be attached to the structure. Available in American walnut in the four colours in the price list, with leather or natural leather upholstery.
